Construct & Conserve Building Inc. is a construction company specializing in Green Building. Construct & Conserve works on all types of projects in the Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Institutional sector. We work with innovators in the industry to help educate and inform our clients of Green Building technologies and practices. Conservation and construction go hand in hand and we are here to prove it.

Construct & Conserve became a corporation in 2006 and continues to grow. Located in Aurora, Ontario we service all of Southern Ontario. The company is made up of three partners:

Scott Vanular

Scott attended George Brown College to obtain his Construction Engineering Technology (CET) accreditation. Scott also took an Advanced Chief Architect course at Conestoga College. Chief Architect is a professional CAD and drafting software used throughout the world. Scott is a carpenter by trade and is part of the Local 27 Carpenter’s Apprenticeship Program. Scott is currently working on his LEED AP designation through the Canadian Green Building Council (CAGBC) and his CET through Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists (OACETT).

Cooper Grant

Cooper attended George Brown College to obtain his Construction Engineering Technology (CET) accreditation. Cooper also has vast knowledge in the residential and commercial sectors, working with different sub-trades and general contractors in Canada and overseas. Cooper is currently working on his LEED AP designation through the Canadian Green Building Council (CAGBC) and his CET through Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists (OACETT).

Jason Vanular

Graduated with high distinction from the University of Ottawa obtaining a Baccalaureate in Business Commerce speacializing in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Jason currently holds many finacial designations and is a CFA Level II candidate. Not to mention, he brings a vast amount of industry experience in cash flow management, budgeting, accounting, executive risk consulting, environmental liability, sales, compliance, investing and financial analysis.

Construct & Conserve is a new, innovative green builder construction company with sustainability as our goal. We strive to be the best in industry by keeping our clients on the leading edge of green building design and construction. As a society we have to look at the advantages of green building and integrate these practices now not later. We are here to educate clients, architects, engineers and the building industry as a whole on the effects that conventional construction has on the environment and surrounding communities. As energy prices rise, co2 emissions rise and fossil fuels deplete human beings have to understand that our actions speak 1000 words. We believe that in order to help change and educate an industry that has built the same way for many years small steps will have to be taken. Construct & Conserve is here to help protect occupant health, improve employee productivity, use our resources more efficiently and reduce the impact our industry has on the environment .

Green building, also known as sustainable construction, gives us the opportunity to conserve our valuable resources such as energy, water, materials and land. This is done by constructing a building that is energy efficient, conserves and recycles water, reduces landfill waste, uses sustainable materials and minimizes the building footprint. Building a green building will create a healthy environment and provide cost savings.
